over top and spoon on remain-
ing berries. To serve, cut into
8 wedges. 8 servings.
For individual shortcakes,
roll dough to 1/2-inch thick-
ness on lightly floured sur-
face. Cut with floured 3-inch
round cutter. Place 2 inches
apart on ungreased baking
sheet. Bake at 425 degrees.
for 11 to 13 minutes, or until
lightly browned. Cool. Split
shortcakes using fork. Fill
with strawberries and
whipped cream, and spoon ex-
tra cream and berries over
top.

Machon L'Torah
Plans Programs

Machon L'Torah, the Jewish
Learning Network of
Michigan, will open a "Say
NO to Intermarriage" fall
campaign Sept. 29.
It will include lectures,
mailings, and ice cream
socials. The first in a series of
lectures will take place at the
University of Michigan in
conjunction with the AAOM
of the Hillel in Ann Arbor 7
p.m. Oct. 2.
The campaign will continue
with a brunch at Ohio State
University in Columbus,
Ohio, where Rabbi Jacobovitz
will discuss "Marriage, Inter-
marriage, and Racism."

and Learn" session for doctors
and individuals in the
medical profession noon Oct.
2 at the Henry Ford Hospital
Clinic building.
The discussion, led by Rab-
bi Shmuel Irons, dean of

Detroit, will focus on medical
ethics from a Torah perspec-
tive applicable to modern day
medical practice.
