HOSPICE SHOW
An American Beauty
Fashion Show was recently
held at Fairlane Manor with
fashions from Saks Fifth
Avenue, Fairlane, to benefit
the Hospice of Southeastern
Michigan. Lisa Marks of
The Jewish News reports
that the casual plaids are
perfect for fall. Black is
always popular, especially
accented with bright colors.
For evening add sequins to
the basic black dress and
wear with metallic shoes. To
be fashionable this season,
don't clean out your closets.
Clothes from the '60s and
'70s are fashionable in the
'90s.
Some of the special
Hospice benefactors includ-
ed: Bernice Gershenson,
Shelley Golden, Marjorie
Jospey, Mira Linder,
Patricia Rosen, Dulcie
Rosenfeld, Sandra
Schwartz, Sylvia Ger-
shenson-Sloman, Linda
Taubman and the Murray
and Evelyn Liberman
Tribute Fund.

MCI CALLS
MCI's free calling center
was at a recent Boston Pops
concert at Meadow Brook.
Brenda Saperstein, of
West Bloomfield, called
Israel to speak with her
relatives. After waiting in
line for 45 minutes, she said,
"It was worth the wait. I
talked to my family and I
missed only one piece by the
Pops."
