David Stillman

David Stillman, 26,
Honors Graduate

David Irwin Stillman, 26, of
Bloomfield Hills, died Aug. 15
in a skiing accident in
Switzerland.
He was a graduate engineer
from Oakland University and
received his law degree with
honors from the University of
Michigan Law School in May
1991. He took the California
bar and was to practice law
with the firm of Pillsbury
Madison in San Francisco.
He leaves his parents, Dr.
Burton and Judy Stillman of
Bloomfield Hills; brother, Jef-
frey; sister, Lauren; grand-
parents, Victor and Frieda
Bizer of West Bloomfield,
Dorothy Stillman of Farm-
ington Hills; friend, Jac-
queline Raznik.

George Berman, 65,
TRW Engineer

George A. Berman, 65,
former Detroiter of Lafayette,
Ind., died Aug. 15.
Mr. Berman was the chief
engineer at TRW when he
retired in 1989. He was a
board member of the Hebrew
Free Loan Association, a
member of the Society of
Automotive Engineers and a
board adviser to the Indiana
• Vocational Technical College.
He is survived by his wife,
Pearl; daughter, Risa Yager;
daughter and son-in-law, Gale
and Bernard Krule; sons,
Frank and Steve; son and
daughter-in-law, Michael and
Elizabeth; sister, Lorraine
Lurvey; five grandchildren.

Evelyn Berger, 89
Active In Oldtimers

Evelyn Berger, 89, of
Southfield, died Aug. 17.
She was the secretary-
treasurer of Hanna Schloss
Oldtimers and was a member
of the National Council
of Jewish Women and
Hadassah.
She leaves her daughters,
Dale Friend of Rockville, Md.,
Suzanne Himelhoch of Flint;
two grandchildren.
