He was a graduate engineer from Oakland University and received his law degree with honors from the University of Michigan Law School in May 1991. He took the California bar and was to practice law with the firm of Pillsbury Madison in San Francisco. George Berman, 65, TRW Engineer George A. Berman, 65, former Detroiter of Lafayette, Ind., died Aug. 15. Mr. Berman was the chief engineer at TRW when he retired in 1989. He was a board member of the Hebrew Free Loan Association, a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and a board adviser to the Indiana • Vocational Technical College. She was the secretary- treasurer of Hanna Schloss Oldtimers and was a member of the National Council of Jewish Women and Hadassah.
