Saul J. Benyas, 97, of West
Bloomfield, died Aug. 13.
Mr. Benyas founded Benyas
Insurance in 1924 and was a
charter member of Temple
Israel, a member of Sholem
Aleichem Institute, Perfec-
tion Lodge 486 F&AM and
Jewish War Veterans.
He leaves his sons and
daughters-in-law, Robert and
Shirley of West Bloomfield,
Donald and Maxine of Farm-
ington Hills; daughter and
son-in-law, Ettagail and Jack
Shatz of Boca Raton, Fla.;
seven grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren.

Lillian Schreier, 88, of
Southfield, died Aug. 10.
Mrs. Schreier was active in
Zedakah, received a humani-
tarian award from the City of
Hope, was a past member of
Beth Abraham, a member of
Pioneer Women and
Hadassah.
She leaves her daughter,
Charlotte Bernson of South-
field; daughter-in-law, Chur-
rey; six grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren.
