The Oakland Breast Cancer
Detection/Education Center
will bring its Mobile Health
Service Unit to the Jimmy
Prentis Morris Jewish Com-
munity Center Aug. 28.
The mobile facility will
make the latest equipment
accessible to seniors. Profes-
sional health care workers
will provide breast self-
examination instructions,
breast physical examinations
and low radiation
mammography.
Cost for the breast exam is
$12.00; a follow-up fee is
$7.00. There is no charge for
women over 60 years of age.
The fee for mammography is
covered by most health in-
surance policies.
Registration for an appoint-
ment is ongoing at the Jimmy
Prentis Morris box office. The
appointments start at 9:30
a.m. and continue until 3
p.m., each lasting 45 minutes.

Fay Beckwith and Dr. Sylvia Koss presented a check for $1,500 to
George Cohen, the Jewish Federation's associate director of finance,
creating the Sigma Theta Delta Foundation College Scholarship Fund.
The fund will be administered by the Jewish Educational Loan Service at
Jewish Vocational Service.
