ANNUAL MEETING

Dr. Raymond Tanter, Professor of Political Science at the University of
Michigan, and former staff member of the National Security Council spoke
at the Agency's 72nd Annual Meeting on "Reagan, Bush and Israel" Does

Dr. Raymond Tanter

Dr. Tanter has been
active in public service
as a deputy director
in the Department of
Defense, and a personal
representative of the
Secretary of Defense
in U.S. delegations.
His most recent book

Dr. Tanter assessed the differences between President
Bush and President Reagan in their policy towards Israel. His
extensive experience at the Defense Department indicated
that Reagan was very compassionate towards Israel. Dr.
