QUESTION: Why should
I househunt with a Realtor
when I can "cruise" around
neighborhoods in my own
car and see what's for sale?
ANSWER: You can get
SOME information by
"cruising" at random, but
there's so much you can't
see through a windshield.
What are local taxes,
public transportation, zon-
ing restrictions? Are there
deed restrictions common
to the area which might af-
fect how you can use or
alter the property? What
are the future prospects of
the neighborhood? A local
Realtor can be a quarry of
such information. Also,
many homes for sale do not
have signs in front of them.
Use a Realtor — it sure
beats cruising and saves you
gas and time.
