Dear Friends and Supporters of the JNF in Jewish communities throughout
the United States,
Recently, when I had the opportunity to meet the leaders of the JNF from around the
world, in Sderot, I told them: "you never have to call on the Jewish National Fund, they
are always there."
Now, while the war was on going in the Gulf, we were witnessing the miracle of the
continued Aliya. Let us not forget for an instant the pressing need for providing
housing to the newcomers. In this regard I must stress again the vital role of the JNF
in the development of the sites by preparing the infrastructure for the construction of
tens of thousands of housing units all over Israel.
All that cannot be done without your help and your participation in this historic
undertaking.
I am sure that you understand this crucial need, and hope you will extend your help
and full support to these endeavors.
