Camp
The JCC Summer Camp is pleased to offer four new
programs for talented high school age young people
who have demonstrated special interest and skills in the
Fine Arts. Theatre Arts, Music (Instrumental and Vocal),
Ceramics and Dance will be presented under the
direction of such notables as the Jewish Ensemble
Theatre, David Syme, the Detroit Dance Collective and
Pewabic Pottery. Admission to the limited number of
places in each program will be by interview and/or

Machon L'Torah, the Jewish
Learning Network of
Michigan, in conjunction
with B'nai B'rith Hillel Foun-
dation of East Lansing, will
sponsor a course in Jewish
philosophy and ethics on a
weekly basis during the
spring semester at Michigan
State University.
The classes, held at the
Hillel Student Center, will be
led by Rabbi Avraham
Jacobovitz, director of
Machon L'Torah beginning 8
p.m. April 16 using Ethics of
our Fathers as its text.
There is no charge.
Machon L'Torah will hold a
"Just Say No to Intermar-
riage" campaign with a
discussion entitled: "Mar-
riage, Intermarriage and
Racism — A Jewish Perspec-
tive" 6 p.m. April 9 at
Western Michigan University
in Kalamazoo.
The program will include a
deli dinner and lecture by
Rabbi Avraham Jacobovitz,
director of Machon L'Torah.

Support Group
Meets At Sinai
Weekly Wednesdays, spon-
sored by Sinai Hospital and
the Children's Leukemia
Foundation of Michigan, is a
free support group designed
to provide effective coping
strategies to family members
and adult patients with
cancer related disorders, in-
cluding leukemia and
lymphoma.
Meetings will be held 3-4
p.m. every Wednesday at
Sinai Hospital in the East
Conference Room, near
Zuckerman Auditorium (use
the Outer Drive entrance).
The group is facilitated by an
oncology social worker and
nurse from Sinai Hospital.

B'nai B'rith Council
Plans Games Night
B'nai B'rith Michigan
Regional Council and the
B'nai B'rith Foundation will
host their First Annual Las
Vegas Nite 6:30 p.m. April 28
at Congregation Beth Achim.

all proceeds to benefit B'nai
