Bowlers Advance
To Final Round
Forty B'nai B'rith bowlers
advanced to the final round of
the "Eliminator" Tourna-
ment. The tournament
started six weeks ago. After
the two eliminator rounds,
these 40 will compete for 20
cash prizes; first prize is $400.
The Eliminator is an over-
average competition, with the
scores shot during the regular
bowling night counting for
the tournament. The final
round scores were counted
during March 17-21, with
make-ups next week.
Dave Teper, of Brotherhood,
Eddie Jacobson, lead the 2nd
round, shooting 157 pins over-
average; Mike Shecter, also of
B/EJ was 2nd, 137 P.O.A., and
Todd Schaefer, of Pisgah, was
3rd, 120 P.O.A. To qualify for
the final round, the bowlers
shot 48 P.O.A. or better.
Maccabi Club
Forms Teams
The Detroit Maccabi Club
is now forming two co-ed
volleyball teams to compete
in regional youth competition
Aug. 18-22, 1991. Boys and
girls aged 13-16 are invited to
try out.
