Art Exhibition
At Wayne State

A master of fine arts exhibi-
tion will run through March
28 in the Wayne State Uni-
versity Community Arts
Gallery, featuring the pain-
ting and sculpture artwork of
five candidates.
The candidates include the
following: Aviva Kramer of
Dearborn, painting, has ex-
hibited in Pennsylvania and
througout Michigan; Claudia
Shepard of West Bloomfield,
painting, is an instructor at
WSU and has received a two-
year graduate professional
scholarship; Dale Susan
Sparage of Bloomfield Hills,
painting, uses the female
figure as her point of em-
barkation for self exploration.
She has exhibited in Illinois,
Canada and extensively in
Michigan; Christine Welch of
Birmingham, painting, is a
frequent prize winner in
Michigan exhibitions; John
Catenacci will present his
sculpture in exhibition.
The gallery, located at Cass
and Kirby on the main cam-
pus, is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday through Friday.
The exhibition is sponsored
by the WSU department of
art and art history. For infor-
