Professor Bomzer is a pro-
fessor of Talmudic studies and
pedagogy at the Yeshiva
University. He is on the ex-
ecutive committee of the Rab-
binical Council of America.
The lunch/lecture is open to
the public; there is no charge.

munity Center. The topic will
be "Why Good Things Hap-
pen to Bad People & Vice Ver-
sa," and will explore why in
an age of scientific sophistica-
tion we still struggle with
basic dilemmas of right and
wrong, reward and punish-
ment, success and failure. The
discussion will be led by Rab-
bi Avraham Jacobovitz.
