Jewish women to an educa-
tional program in honor of
the yahrtzeit of Rebbetzin
Chaya Mushka, late wife of
the Lubavitcher Rebbe Shlita
8 p.m. Feb. 5 at the Torah
Center, 5595 West Maple.
There will be an audio visual
presentation on the life of the
late rebbetzin as well as a lec-
ture delivered by Rebbetzin
Ruth Shaingarten, a psychol-
ogist, educator, author, and
lecturer.
Rebbetzin Shaingarten
teaches psychology and
serves as a guidance
counselor at Yeshiva high
schools and seminaries in
Brooklyn. She is connected
with Counterforce, a drug
prevention program, and has
a private family counseling
practice. Her articles have ap-
peared in publications, and
she lectures extensively.
Her topic for this program
will be "Inter-Familial Rela-
tionships," a positive and
practical approach to enhan-
cing family interactions.
Refreshments will be served.

Zionist Alliance
Elects Officers
Labor Zionist Alliance
Branch 960 elected new of-
ficers for 1991. Elected presi-
dent was Dr. Jeffrey L. Ram,
succeeding Judy Silberg
Loebl, who will continue as
secretary and newsletter
editor. Dr. Ram is a faculty
member of the Wayne State
University School of Medicine
and a member of Congrega-
tion T'Chiyah.
Other officers elected were
Robin Willner, vice president
for programming; Joel Wald-
bott, treasurer, and four at-
large members of the steering
committee, Jeremy Salinger,
Sherry King, Alex Bensky,
and Andrea Kempner.
Labor Zionist Alliance
Branch 960 is a group of the
Labor Zionist movement. The
Alliance has organizational
interrelationships with
Na'amat (Jewish Women's
Organization), Histadrut, and
Habonim Camp Tavor.
The next meeting of LZA
