Rebbetzin Shaingarten teaches psychology and serves as a guidance counselor at Yeshiva high schools and seminaries in Brooklyn. She is connected with Counterforce, a drug prevention program, and has a private family counseling practice. Her articles have ap- peared in publications, and she lectures extensively. Elected presi- dent was Dr. Jeffrey L. Ram, succeeding Judy Silberg Loebl, who will continue as secretary and newsletter editor. Dr. Ram is a faculty member of the Wayne State University School of Medicine and a member of Congrega- tion T'Chiyah. Other officers elected were Robin Willner, vice president for programming; Joel Wald- bott, treasurer, and four at- large members of the steering committee, Jeremy Salinger, Sherry King, Alex Bensky, and Andrea Kempner. Labor Zionist Alliance Branch 960 is a group of the Labor Zionist movement.
