$11,958 per person, offers an eight-
day cruise and land package, as well
as a 16-day cruise which combines
the best of the Hawaiian Islands with
a Pacific crossing.
Princess' Pacific Princess leaves
from Honolulu for a nine-day Ha-
waiian cruise which ends in
Vancouver, Canada.
American Hawaii Cruises offers
seven-day voyages on board the S.S.
Constitution and the S.S. Indepen-
dence to Oahu, Maui, Kona, Hilo and
Kauai. A special honeymoon package
combines a four-day cruise with a
two-day stay at a land resort.
Couples can spend two days at the
Hawaiian Regent Hotel in a junior
suite, and four days sailing aboard the
S.S. Constitution. A private
chauffeured limo in Waikiki, fresh
pineapple and champagne, full
breakfast at the hotel, inter-island
flight, fresh flower leis at embarkation,
and other special goodies are
included in the cost.
Cruises to Mexico generally depart
from Los Angeles, and travel to those
exotic sounding ports that TV's "Love
Boat" visited every week: Cabo San
Lucas, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Zi-
huatanejo, Ixtapa and Acapulco.
Transcanal cruises combine the
beauty of Mexico and the Caribbean
with passage through the historic
Panama Canal. These cruises leave
from either Acapulco and travel
eastbound to San Juan, or Fort
Lauderdale and sail westbound to
Acapulco. Passage through the
Panama Canal allows passengers to
watch the intricate system of locks
raise and lower a ship weighing
20,000 or more tons 85 feet using no
force other than gravity!
