Temple Emanu-El Temple
Youth (TEMTY) will host the
Michigan State Temple Youth
(MSTY) Winter Conclave Jan.
25-27. The theme for this
weekend is "Am Echad,
Panim Rabot One People,
Many Faces," which is also
the study theme for this year
by the North American
Federation of Temple Youth
(NFTY).
Over the weekend par-
ticipants will explore expres-
sions of Jewish life and
culture as experienced by
Jewish communities around
the world. One program,
planned by two regional
board members, will focus on
the Jewish imperative for
social action through the ages
and will feature participation
by the region's rabbis.
