Maple-Drake
Senior Program

The Senior Adult Depart-
ment of the Maple-Drake
Jewish Community Center
will host a celebration of Tu
B'Shevat noon Jan. 28. This
intergenerational experience
will include a brown bag
lunch, Tu B'Shevat seder and
the traditional planting of
parsley to be used in the
Passover seder.
The Seder will be followed
by a slide presentation
highlighting the value of
trees to the environment.
This will be presented by Carl
Dulhoff, regional director,
Michigan Department of
Agriculture, joined by Mike
Barger, a representative of
Global Relief. Mr. Dulhoff and
Mr. Barger will also lead a
discussion on recycling tips.
