Tax Return Aid
For Seniors

JPM Seniors
Plan Events

Members of the American
Association of Retired People
(AARP) who have had special
training from the IRA will be
available to assist senior
adults with tax returns, free
of charge Feb. 15 and Feb. 22
at the Jimmy Prentis Morris
building.
Participants must bring
1990 forms and 1099 forms as
well as interest records,
dividends, Social Security
received in 1990 and records
of the amount of real estate
taxes or rent paid and to
whom in 1990. Bring a copy
of the 1989 tax return, if
possible.
If you would like to take ad-
vantage of this service, call
967-4030 and leave your
name and phone number
with the senior adult office or
sign up at the hospitality
table before Feb. 8.

Bus Service
For Seniors

Door to Door Transporta-
tion to the Oak Park Jewish
Community Center is offered
to senior adults. This service
is provided through the ef-
forts of the Jewish Communi-
ty Center, the Jewish Infor-
mation Service, the Jewish
Welfare Federation and
Jerome Glassman.
Pick-up is scheduled for the
following areas: Monday —
Southfield and Detroit; Tues-
day — Oak Park; Wednesday
— Northwest Detroit, Oak
Park, Royal Oak, Southfield
and Berkley; Friday — Oak
Park, Royal Oak, Berkley.
Passengers are picked up at
their homes beginning at 9:30
a.m. and return from the
Center at 3 p.m. A donation
for the round trip is
suggested.

the Jewish Information Ser-
vice, 967-4357.

Seniors Plan
Lunch, Play

A trip to see Teibele and
Her Demon will be made Feb.
6 by the Senior Adult Depart-
ment of the Maple-Drake
Jewish Community Center.
Lunch will be at the
Pegasus Restaurant in the
Fisher Building followed by
the Attic Theater production
of the play by Isaac Bashevis
Singer and Eve Friedman.
Buses will leave the Maple-
Drake building at 10:30 a.m.
and will leave the JPM
building at 11 a.m.
There is a fee. For informa-
