Nineties Auction

Temple Beth El will host "A
Night in the Nineties Auc-
tion" Dec. 1. The event will
begin with a 5:30 p.m.
cocktail hour and silent auc-
tion followed by a 7:30 p.m.
dinner. At 8:30 p.m., Frank H.
Boos Gallery, Inc. will conduct
a live auction followed by a
dessert table. Co-chairs for
the event are Sandy and Elly
Passer, Herb and Babs Kauf-
man and Marvin and Nola
Goldman.
Among the items featured
in the live and silent auction
are one-of-a-kind jewelry
pieces, weekend and week-
long vacations, dinner parties
at local restaurants or catered
in the bidder's home, art,
home furnishings, owning a
downtown parking space, lun-
ching with celebrities and a
chance to publish one's own
newsletter.
Proceeds from the event
will benefit projects within
the temple and community
outreach programs, such as
Baldwin Avenue Human Ser-
vices Center in Pontiac, the
Glazer Institute and the
Braille transcription project.
