Hosts Judge

Bryan H. Levy, judge from
the 46th District Court in
Southfield, will be the
speaker for the Business and
Professional Branch of Na-
tional Council of Jewish
Women — Greater Detroit
Section 6 p.m. Oct. 23 at the
NCJW office.
Dinner will be followed by
a business session and the
presentation entitled
"Changing Judicial Climate."
Judge Levy is a graduate of
University of Michigan and
University of Detroit Law
School. He was appointed to
the bench by Governor Blan-
chard to complete Jessica
Cooper's term and was
elected to a two-year term in
1988.

City Of Hope
Shows Fashions

The City of Hope Helen
Rosenberg Cancer Fighters
will hold their annual
Glamorama Luncheon and
Fashion Show 10 a.m. Nov. 1
at Adat Shalom Synagogue.
The fashion show will be
produced and directed by
Leah Marks. Captain Rick
Jagger from 96.3 FM will be
the commentator.

Holds Meeting

Evergreen Group of
Hadassah will hold its open-
ing dinner meeting 6:45 p.m.

Yorke, past president of the
greater Detroit Chapter of
Hadassah. Her topic is
"Hadassah Today — Every
Dollar Counts!"
