Seniors Plan
iWo Trips

The Senior Adult Depart-
ment of the Maple-Drake
Jewish Community Center
will host the following trips.
@ff to the races at Lad-
brooke DRC in Livonia Oct.
24. The trip includes
transportation, buffet lunch,
clubhouse seating, all admis-
sions, racing program, taxes
and gratuities. The two
departure locations are
Maple-Drake 12 p.m. and the
Jimmy Prentis Morris
building at 12:30 p.m.
A Bird Watching and
Monarch Butterfly Hike will
take place at Pt. Pelee Na-
tional Park, Ontario, Canada,
Oct. 2. Buses will leave
Maple-Drake 8:30 a.m., retur-
ning 5:50 p.m., and leave the
JPM building at 9 a.m., retur-
ning 5 p.m. The trip includes
transportation, a one mile
bird and butterfly migration
hike on the DeLaurier Trail,
including a tour through the
DeLaurier Homestead, picnic
lunch and snack, a slide
presentation and train ride to
the tip of Pt. Pelee. For infor-

Senior Adults
Hold Hayride

West Bloomfield Parks and
Recreation will hold an old
fashioned hayride for eligible
senior adults Oct. 5. To be
eligible to attend, older
adults need only be 55 years
or older.
Included are the hayride,
cider, donuts and bus
transportation. lb register,
call parks and recreation
334-5660. There is no charge.

Senior Men
Start New Club

The Senior Adult Depart-
ment at the Maple-Drake
Jewish Community Center
will sponsor a Senior Men's
Club meeting 10:30 a.m.-noon
in the Staff Lounge. There is
