will host a Lunch and Learn
Sept. 8. Howard Sherizen,
treasurer of Project Achim,
will speak on "Project Achim:
Bringing Soviet Jewish Im-
migrants Into the Torah-
based Community."
The lunch and program will
follow services at the
synagogue. There is a charge.

Commission Hosts
Memorial Concert

The Cultural Commission
of Congregation Beth
Abraham Hillel Moses will
present the Walter Litt
Memorial Concert 7:30 p.m.
Sept. 13 at the synagogue.
Featured will be Yury
Khalitov, clarinetist;
Vladislav Kovalsky, pianist;

and Simon Zarkhin, violinist.
Mr. Khalitov taught in the
School of Music in Leningrad,
performed in the Theater of
Musical Comedy and played
clarinet in the Philharmonic
Orchestra in Leningrad. Mr.
Khalitov also teaches clarinet
at the Classic Music School.
Vladislav Kovalsky moved
to the United States in 1980
and is teaching at Wayne
State University. He performs
with orchestras, solo and
chamber music recitals in
Europe, America and the Far
East.
Simon Zarkhin is 8 years
old. He is the son of Michael
and Marina Zarkhin, and is
in the United States four
months, emigrating from
Leningrad.
The Walter Litt Memorial
Concert is sponsored by the
Walter Litt Jewish Music
Fund of Beth Abraham Hillel
Moses. There is no charge. For

Holds Banquet

The Radomer Aid Society
will hold its 70th Annual
banquet 7 p.m. Sept. 12 at
Adat Shalom Synagogue.
Sanford Carr will officiate
as master of ceremonies. Rita
Ager, honorary vice presi-
dent, will chair the event.
Judge Michael Goodman will
give the invocation. President
Oscar Tuttleman along with
vice presidents Renee Zahler
and Milton Klein will
participate.
There will be a fund-raising
candlelighting ceremony. For
