ject will take place 9:30 a.m.

Veteran's Memorial Home.
Temple Israel
Hosts Rabkin
Temple Israel Sisterhood
will hold its opening meeting
noon Sept. 10 at the temple.
Eric Rabkin, a professor of
English language and
literature, will present "Some
of My Best Jokes Are Jewish."
Mr. Rabkin has been
teaching at the University of
Michigan since 1970 and was
recently awarded the Univer-
sity's Arthur F. Thurnau Pro-
fessorship. He has written
many books and articles and
has appeared on local TV.
There is no charge to paid-
