To Lecture July 29

Prof. Nathan Aviezer, chair-
man of the Physics Depart-
ment at Bar Ilan University,
will lecture on the contradic-
tion between Torah and
science at 7:30 p.m. July 29 at
the United Hebrew Schools
building.
Prof. Aviezer will discuss
the agreement between the
biblical account of the crea-
tion of the universe and the
scientific findings. The
author of nearly 100 scientific
articles on solid state physics,
Professor Aviezer was elected
to fellowship in the American
Physical Society in 1984.
There is no charge. This
program is sponsored by the
Midrasha College of Jewish
Studies, a division of the
Agency for Jewish Education,
Religious Zionists of America
Detroit Chapter and the
Young Israel of Oak Woods,
