Sinai Plans
Heritage Ball

Sinai Hospital's second an-
nual Heritage Ball will be
held Oct. 17 at the Westin
Hotel in Detroit. The theme
will be "Continuing the
Tradition," a celebration of
Sinai's heritage of quality
health care, teaching
facilities and medical
research for 37 years.
The 1990 Heritage Ball co-
chairs are Dorothy Gerson,
Marjorie Jospey, Leah Snider,
Sinai Hospital Guild Presi-
dent Marta Rosenthal and
Carolyn Greenberg, Sinai
Hospital development com-
mittee chair.
A patron's evening is plann-
ed for Sept. 17. A com-
memorative book will be
published highlighting
Sinai's services. Co-chairs of
the book are Roberta Blitz
and Alita Cyrlin, both of West
Bloomfield.
The 1989 ball last October
marked Sinai's first organiz-
ed medical endowment fun-
draiser. With 900 guests, the
first ball raised more than
$400,000 to enhance Sinai's
laser program.
For ticket or ad book infor-
mation, call Sinai's develop-
ment office, 493-5877. _
