Readers Theater
Sets Spring Series

Readers Theater will open
its Spring Series with a per-
formance 4 p.m. March 18 in
the Aaron DeRoy Theatre at
the Jewish Community
Center's Maple-Drake
Building. A complimentary
wine bar opens at 3:15 p.m.
Readers Theater, which
also performs April 22 and
June 3, consists of commun-
ity actors who bring to life
treasures of Jewish litera-
ture —without the use of
props or scenery.
The ensemble for this pro-
duction includes Shirley
Benyas, Elizabeth Elkin
Weiss, Rube Weiss and Paul
Winter. Allan Gelfond will
host the March 18 show.

Meadow Brook
Sets 'Sebastians'

The Great Sebastians, the
1956 Howard Lindsay and
Russel Crouse comedy
written by Alfred Lunt and
Lynn Fontanne, will open a
four-week run at Meadow
Brook Theater 8 p.m. March
1.
