Rabinowitz will give the ser-
mon on "Jewish Law in the
Intensive Care Unit" and
other questions of medical
ethics. At 4 p.m. Jan. 13, a
seudah shelishit and dialogue
with Rabbi Rabinowitz will be
held. There is no charge.
At 11 a.m. Jan. 14, Rabbi
Rabinowitz will discuss the
issue of women in the mi-
nyan. The program, which in-
cludes a light breakfast, is of-
fered at no charge.

seminar series on "Living
with Death" 7:30 p.m. Jan. 7,
21, and 28. Rabbi Daniel
Polish and Drs. Melvin Born-
stein and Richard Simons
will lead a discussion on how
death is understood and ac-
cepted in our society.
Bornstein is on the clinical
staffs of Sinai Hospital,
Detroit Psychiatric Institute
and Lafayette Clinic. He is
editor of Psychoanalytic
Inquiry.
Simons is professor at the
Department of Psychiatry at
the University of Colorado in
Denver and a faculty member
and trianing and supervising
analyst at the Denver In-
stitute for Psychoanalysts.
