ding anniversary on Dec. 28.
Rose and Sol are charter

Synagogue. They are also

Levinson 65th
Rose and Nathan Levinson
are celebrating their 65th
wedding anniversary. They
were married on Dec. 28, 1924
in Detroit.
Their children, Phyllis and
Joe Hertzberg and Sally and
Norton Flusty, will be honor-
ing them at a brunch attend-
ed by their eight grand-
children and eight great-
grandchildren. Their son,
Robert, lives in California.

with Moshe Raiz, son of
Karmella and Vladimir Raiz
of Vllnius in the Soviet
Union.
The Raiz family has been
waiting for 17 years for per-
mission to emigrate to
Israel.
Vladimir Raiz was work-
ing for the Institute of Mo-
lecular Biology in 1973
when he first applied for an
exit visa to Israel; Karmella
was employed as first
violinist with the Vilnius
Philharmonic Orchestra.
