Ins and outs for party dips
this holiday season:
In: Parmesan cheese, dill
lemon, artichoke hearts,
salmon.
Out: Spinach, onion.
Robin Lutz, a local home
economist who has developed
recipes for Martin Gillet &
Company, Inc., reports that
party-givers this year are
moving toward more sophisti-
cated dips, particularly dips
that taste like they take more
time to prepare than they ac-
tually do.
Lutz has created the follow-
ing dip ideas for the holiday
season: "Salmon Dill
Mousse" whips smoked
salmon, cream cheese and dill
& lemon dressing into a
creamy spread for cucumber
slices or crackers. "Artichoke
Dip" bakes artichoke hearts,
cheese and parmesan pepper
dressing into a bubbly hot clip
for parmesan pita chips.
