Las Vegas Night,
`Spot' Dance Set

Two events are scheduled
for all Jewish singles at the
Maple-Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center.
A Las Vegas Night will be
held Dec. 16 at 8 p.m.
Roulette, black jack, wheel
of fortune and other games
will be offered. A drawing for
prizes, including round-trip to
Las Vegas, will be held.
The JCC and The Jewish
News will present "The Only
Spot in Town" Party; 9 p.m.,
Dec. 24.
Dancing will be to music by
DJ John Sarver.
There is an admission
charge to both events. For in-

Center Social Singles (40-60)

stitute of Arts, will discuss
Jewish ritual art.

Schedules Outing

The Chai Ski Club (ages
2445) will go downhill skiing
at noon Dec. 25.
Skiers will meet at the
Jewish Community Center,

Singles Schedule
6th ‘Supercruise'

The sixth annual, seven-
day, nationwide Jewish
Singles Supercruise will be
held Feb. 25-March 4, leaving

San Juan, Puerto Rico, and
making stops in Barbados,
Martinique, St. Maartten,
Antigua and St. Thomas.
Registration deadline for
the cruise, which features ex-
clusive singles cocktail par-
ties plus special Jewish ac-
tivities coordinated by
various Jewish Community
Centers from the United
States and Canada, is Dec. 19.
Kosher food is available.
Price includes roundtrip
airfare from Detroit to San
Juan. For information, call

JWV Is Hosting
Hospital Parties

The Department of
Michigan of the Jewish War
Veterans and the Jewish War
Veterans Auxiliaries will be
holding holiday parties at
veterans' hospitals on Dec.
25.
Allen Park Veterans
Hospital — morning chapel
hour followed by bagels and
coffee; at noon, bingo.
Refreshments will be served;
prizes and gifts will be
distributed to the whole
hospital.
Ann Arbor Veterans
Hospital — Bale Post and
Block-Rose Post and Aux-
iliary will sponsor this party.
There will be refreshments,
bingo and gift distribution to
the whole hospital.
Battle Creek Veterans
Hospital — The Lt. Roy F.
Green Post will sponsor this
party. There will be bingo,
refreshments, and gift
distribution.
