DR. JOHN • MAMES, D.D.S.

President and Founder of The ARMDI Michigan Region

He was a staunch and valued friend, and a dedicated and
tireless worker on behalf of Magen David Adorn, Israel's
Emergency Medical, Ambulance, Disaster and Blood Services.
Heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy are extended to
his beloved and devoted wife, Eva, and their children, Andrea
and Robert.
May he and his family be consoled among the mourners of
Zion and Jerusalem.

ELI FREEMAN, 94, of Tar-
zana, Calif., formerly of Oak
Park, died Nov. 20. He is sur-
vived by his wife, Miriam; son
and daughter-in-law Joseph
and Joan Freeman of Canoga
Park, Calif.; daughter and
son-in-law Adell and Stanley
White of Roslyn, N.Y.; six
grandchildren and two
great-grand-
children.

ROSE GROSSMAN, 72,
former Detroiter of Planta-
tion, Fla., died Nov. 29. She is

LILA JAFFE, 68, former
Detroiter of Sacramento,
Calif., died Nov. 25. She
leaves her husband, Irving; a
son, Kenneth of Arizona, Ore.,
a daughter and son-in-law,
Charlene and Vernon Roll-
ings of Arizona, Ore.; and
three grandchildren. Services
and interment in Sacramen-
to, Calif.

LYDIA KAHN LEVIN, 82,
died Dec. 5. She leaves a
daughter, Jane Chamberlin of
Sausalito, Calif.; sons and
daughters-in-law, Peter and
Nancy of Baltimore, Md., and
Michael and Ada of Plain-
field, N.J.; a sister and
brother-in-law, Paulette and
Paul Hartrick of E. Hardwich,
Vt.; seven grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren.

WILLIAM (BILL) LITE, 77,
of West Bloomfield, died Dec.
3. He is survived by his wife,
Anne; son and daughter-in-
law, Allyn and Peggy Lite of
Upper Montclair, N.J.;
daughter and son-in-law Lin-
da and Allan Gurvitz of West
Bloomfield; brother, Bernard
Lite of New York; and four
grandchildren.

ROSE MILLER, 76, of Oak
Park, died Nov. 30. She leaves
her husband, Simon; a
brother and sister-in-law,
Milton and Mary Lou Hoffer
of Southfield; and a sister,
Belle Hoffer of Los Angeles,
Calif.

SARAH MOSKOVITZ, 65,
of Southfield, died Dec. 3. She
leaves her husband, Martin;
a daughter and son-in-law,
Frida and Robert Markle of
Bloomfield Hills; a son and
daughter-in-law, David
Moskovitz and Bambi Jones
of Alna, Maine; brothers and
sisters-in-law, Jankel, Leah,
Simon and Shoshana of
Israel, and Anchel and Chaya
Lebovitz of University
Heights, Ohio; and two
grandchildren.

HERMAN SILVER, 78, of
West Bloomfield, died Dec. 2.
He leaves his children,
Sharon and Elliot Burns of

Sherry Rose of Huntington
Woods and Elyse and Philip
Trupiano of St. Clair Shores;
two brothers and sisters-in-
law, Ben and Susan of

grandchildren.

MIRIAM SONNE, 62, of
Southfield, died Dec. 3. She
leaves daughters and son-in-
law, Peggy and Roger Lilien-
feld of Ontario, Calif., and
Beth of Southfield; sons and
daughter-in-law, Ronald
Bruce and Doe Tarnopol of
Homestead, Fla.; and Barry
of Charlotte, N.C. her mother,
Pauline Coggan of Southfield;
a sister and brother-in-law,
Barbara and Samual Weiss of
Grand Rapids; and five
grandchildren.

EDWARD WALSTON
(Wigodski), 77, former
Detroiter of Chicago, died
Dec. 2. He leaves his wife,
Estelle; a son and daughter-
in-law, Stanley and Marge
Wigodski of Southfield; a
daughter and son-in-law,
Cara Lee and Sydney
Blumenthal of Southfield; a
brother, Morris Wigodski of
Southfield; a sister, Shirley
Rosen of Palm Springs, Calif.;
nine grandchildren and 16
great-grandchildren. Inter-
ment Detroit.

HELEN WEINSTEIN, 78, of
Southfield, died Nov. 28. Sur-
vived by her husband, Harry;
a son, Allan Hertzenson of
Southfield; daughter and son-
in-law, Joan and Dr. Henry
