Landmarks," by Thomas
Lollar opens Dec. 2 at Robert
Kidd Gallery in Birm-
ingham. The show runs
through Jan. 13.
Nugent is a California ar-
tist whose new paintings re-
fer to personal visions and
emotional responses seen
and felt during his travels in
Brazil's Amazon River
basin.
Lollar is a New York ce-
ramic artist who captures
urban buildings in large-
scale, glazed clay sculptures.
His "Detroit Landmarks"
series focuses on a number of
architectural edifices con-
nected with Detroit's
heritage. ,
