Gabriel Bolkosky of Oak
Park will appear at Ford
Auditorium 2 p.m. Dec. 3.
He will perform the third
movement of Concerto 2 in D
minor by Henryk
Wieniawski. Bolkosky won
the Detroit Symphony Civic
Orchestra's concerto com-
petition in 1988.
Playing the violin since
the age of 3, Bolkosky has
won awards from the Music
Study Club of Metropolitan
Detroit, National Music
Camp at Interlochen, Amity
Music Club, Troy Communi-
ty Orchestra, Rochester
Symphony Orchestra and,
along with his sister
Miriam, the 1988 Michigan
Young Musicians Competi-
tion.
Also on the program is the
Civic Orchestra. There is no
charge.

free ticket to hear the Tzim-
mes Klezmer Band 8 p.m.
Dec. 2 at the Southfield
Public Library.
