B'NAI MOSHE FASHION

Congregation B'nai
Moshe Sisterhood
recently presented a
fashion show by Ms.
Threads of Farmington
Hills. The theme was
"What the smart Jewish
woman will wear to
synagogue services this
season." Some of the
smart sisterhood models

Freidman, Susan
Friedman, Ilona

FRIAR'S CLUB

The Friar's Club in New
York, an exclusive
association of theatrical
and professional people
located in a chic
brownstone on East 55th
Street, recently held a
private showing for
Birmingham
photojournalist Linda
Solomon. Her
photographic
retrospective included
prominent personalities.
Solomon was the first
woman t be featured at
the club. Many
celebrities attended the
show including: George
Burns, Howard Cosell,

Henny Youngman,
Kenneth Jay Lane,
Milton Berle and Alan
King. Many family
members and friends
attended the show:
Husband Barry
Solomon, parents Mona
and Dan Rappaport
and sister and CBS
broadcaster Jill
Rappaport, along with
friends Marge Levin,
Bob Ziegelman, Ed
Rondina, Charlotte
Rosenthal and Ralph
Finch. Solomon is now
busy working on a book,
which has been accepted
for publication.

The 52nd annual donor

recently at Congregation
Beth Achim. Some of the
