The Homestead Gallery of
Walled Lake has announced
the results in last week's
First Annual Summer
Photography Competition,
juried by photographer and
Birmingham Eccentric colum-
nist Monte Nagler.
Grand prize for "Best of
Show" was awarded to
William Lemke of Wisconsin
for his black and white
photograph entitled
"Yugoslavian Village."
Lemke was awarded a trip for
two to Las Vegas.
Other prizes were awarded
for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in
black- and-white and color
photography. Jerry Moss and
his son Steven Moss of Farm-
ington Hills were 1st- and
2nd-place winners in the col-

participate in the arts and
crafts fair "Art at the Oaks"
10 a.m. -6 p.m. Saturday at
West Oaks II Shopping
Center in Novi.
The proceeds will benefit
Novi Community Education
and Novi Youth Assistance.

Plans Art Show
Machon IlIbrah, the Jewish
Learning Network of
Michigan, will present the
Avraham Leaf Collection of
Israeli Art 10 a.m. -4 p.in.
Sunday in the home of
Avrohom and Devorah
Shenkman, 16979 Jeanette,
Southfield.
The collection represents a
wide variety of well-known
Israeli artists as well as many
newcomers. Leaf will be in at-
tendence to discuss the art
work.
Proceeds from the event
will benefit Machon IfIbrah.
