Want to learn
more about
a Jewish experience
that's very
unorthodox?
The experience is Humanistic Judaism. It's
a philosophy that shifts attention from the
supernatural to the natural, from the divine
to the human. Two hundred years ago, it
was startling. Today it is still unorthodox.
And now you can experience this experience
first hand at the Birmingham Temple.
To learn more about. Humanistic
Judaism, please join us for an infor-
mal meeting with the Rabbi on
Sept. 6 or Sept. 13 at 8:30. Meet
Rabbi Sherwin Wine and become acquainted
with the Birmingham Temple, our educa-
tional programs, family involvement, inter-
faith without conversion, as well as our
life-cycle and holiday celebrations.
To find out about our Community
High Holiday Services, and for addi-
tional information, call our Execu-
tive Director, Helen Forman at

unconventional answers.
