Isacksons For Bonds
Fay and Charles Isackson of
Oak Park, 32-year members
of Congregation Beth
Shalom, will be honored by
the congregation at a tribute
dinner in behalf of State of
Israel Bonds at 6 p.m. Aug. 24
in the synagogue's social hall.
The Isacksons will receive
Israel's Jerusalem Award.
Chairing the event will be

Mrs. Isackson has served on
the Beth Shalom PTO board,
the sisterhood executive
board and the editorial staff
of sisterhood cookbooks. She
is the sisterhood board Braille

member of the National

recently honored as a "Mitz-
vah Doer" by The Jewish

Isackson began his service
to Beth Shalom as an usher;
he soon became head of the
ushering committee for the

reactivated the then-dormant
Men's Club and became its
president. He has sat on the
Beth Shalom school board,
