The "Let's Talk With
Jewish Leaders New to Our
Community" lecture series
will feature Alan Funk, ex-
ecutive director of the Jewish
Home for Aged, on Tuesday at
1 p.m. in the JPM assembly
hall.
Following the discussion,
the third part of the movie,
Yankee Doodle Dandy will be
shown.
A guided tour of the Mat-
thaei Botanical Gardens in
Ann Arbor, followed by lunch
and a program at the Ann Ar-
bor Jewish Community
Center, will take place on
Wednesday.
Sarah Friedman will ad-
dress the Yiddish Culture
Club on Thursday at 12:30
p.m. in Jaffe Hall.
Irving Herman will direct
the Press Review, a current
events discussion group, on
Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in
room 15 of the JPM.

Senior Discount Program.
Seniors, age 60 years and
older, may have their photo-
graphs taken, then placed
and laminated onto plastic
identification cards from 10
a.m. to 2 p.m. at the JPM
Building.
These cards will enable
seniors of Oakland County to
take advantage of discounts
offered by merchants, either
local or throughout the
United States. Discounts are
offered on a variety of items
such as: automobile parts,
hair care, prescription drugs,
cleaners, eye glasses and
more.
To participate in the
Oakland County Senior Dis-
count Program a senior
citizen must be age 60 or

Rides Offered
To Seniors
Door-to-door transportation
is available to senior adults
who wish to participate in the
activities at the Jimmy Pren-
tis Morris Bulding of the
Jewish Community Center.
Pickup is at 10 a.m. with a
return trip at 3 p.m. The
schedule is as follows: Mon-
day, Southfield and Detroit;
Tuesday, Oak Park; Wednes-
day, Detroit, Oak Park,
Berkley, Royal Oak and
Southfield; and Friday, Oak
Park, Berkley, Royal Oak.
