Kosnik Wins Katz Prize
Lea-Rachel
Kosnik,
daughter of Sara Bahar and
the late Paul Kosnik, received
the 1989 William Katz
Memorial leadership Award.
Lea will be a senior at West
Bloomfield High School in the
fall. She has been a member
of Benjamin Disraeli BBG
since September 1986 and was
chapter president last year.
She is a graduate of the
BBYO Chapter Leadership
Training Conference, held last
summer in Wisconsin, and
this year will serve as third
vice president of the Great
Lakes BBG Council.
The William Katz Memorial
Leadership Award was
established by Harry B.
Keidan Lodge of B'nai B'rith
in memory of William Katz,
past president of the lodge and
its long-time financial
secretary: The scholarship
award will enable Lea to at-
tend the International
Leadership Training Con-
ference of BBYO in August at
the B'nai B'rith Perlman
