the recent
Great Lakes
AZA and BBG installation
and awards night.
Jason Porth of Jolson AZA
and Beth Cousens of Glazer
BBG were installed as
presidents of the Great Lakes
AZA and BBG Councils,
respectively, at the annual
event held at Agency for
Jewish Education/United
Hebrew Schools' LaMed
Auditorium.
Coordinators of the installa-
tion program and emcees for
the evening were Lisa Goren
of Shira BBG and Randall
Fogelman of Brandeis AZA.

Chapter Awards. As outgoing
president of Rose AZA, Ken
Franklin was presented with
the AZA Gavel of Distinction.
Shira BBG also earned
recognition as the Most Im-
proved BBG Chapter, while
Daniel Mendoza AZA earned
the honor for AZA.

also won both International
Service Fund awards — for
Most Donated and Most
Donated Per Capita. Rose
AZA won both awards for the
sixth consecutive year. Shira
BBG was also recognized as
the BBG Scrapbook winner.
Eric Mintz of Chalutzim
AZA and Alaine Waldshan of
Shalom Aviv BBG received
the Minutes Incentive Award.
The Chai Club Award for 18
hours of community service
was presented to Jolson AZA,
Mendoza AZA and Rose AZA,
while the Mitzvah Club
Award for 20 hours of com-
munity service was presented
to Shira BBG.
Several AZA members were
honored by earning the Shield
of David, the highest in-
dividual award that an AZA
member can achieve. Those
receiving the first or bronze

Rose AZA. Those qualifying

its "Rookie of the Year" Award
to Erik Rice of Hart AZA.

ed the Star of Deborah, BBG's
highest individual award.
