of Michigan win the
NCAA basketball champion-
ship . . . About 150 helped
Mayor Jeffrey Sherbow of
Pleasant Ridge celebrate at
his victory party.
Of course, most of the peo-
ple watched the game at the
home of Jeffrey and wife, San-
dy, who did the entire coor-
dinating and cooking for
Jeff's party . . . including his
barrister brother Mark and
parents Mert and Bud
Sherbow.
No, 38-year-old Jeffrey
didn't have a political battle
on his hands . . . Matter of
fact, he got all the votes . .
running unopposed.
PARIS, complete with food,
market and song, comes to
Detroit -Yacht Club April 22,
when Arthritis Foundation,
Michigan Chapter, presents
its "April in Paris Gala Din-
ner." ,
The evening includes stroll-
ing along a simulated French
market, silent and live auc-
tions, music and gourmet
French dinner prepared and
announced by Chef Mark
