Award for Poems on the
Jewish Experience will be ac-
cepted between April 15 and
Aug. 31, 1989.
Poets should first write for
entry form and guidelines
between early April and Ju-
ly 31 to: Poetry Award Coor-

self-addressed envelope.
The award is sponsored by
the Magnes Museum (the
Jewish Museum of the West)
and the descendants of Anna
Davidson Rosenberg. Cash
prizes will be awarded. Win-
ning entries are read in an
awards ceremony at the
museum during Chanukah.

The B'nai B'rith Hillel
Foundation and the Universi-
ty of Michigan Housing Divi-
sion will sponsor the Hill
Street Players production of
Athol Fugard's Master Harold
. . . and the Boys. The play
will be performed at 8 p.m.
Thursday, 10 p.m. April 8 and
2 and 8 p.m. April 9 in the
Green Auditorium of the
B'nai B'rith Hillel Founda-
tion, 1429 Hill, Ann Arbor.

DIA Displays
Egyptian Photos

About 100, century-old
views of Egypt by professional
photographers are in "Splen-
dors of the Nile" on display at
the Detroit Institute of Arts
now through May. 7.
The display complements
"Cleopatra's Egypt," at the
DIA now through April 30.
Almost all of the photographs
are part of the museum's per-
manent collection. Museum
hours are 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Tuesday through Sunday.
