CHAIM — Children of
Holocaust Survivors Associa-
tion in Michigan — will host
its annual event April 9 at 7
p.m. at the Movies at Pruden-
tial Town Center, Southfield.
The event will honor Sidney

The Lutz brothers founded
The Center for the Study of
the Child, an organization
dedicated to childhood
development research. The
center is responsible for
creating a new curriculum for
high school students — "A
Holocaust Curriculum: Life
Unworthy of Life."
CHAIM's board of directors
is chaired by Charles Silow
and includes Harriet Bakalar,
Rosa Chessler, Harry
Eisenberg, Betty Ellias,
Frank Ellias, Gail Gales, Ber-
nie Kent, Eva Kraus, Sherry
Lipson, Eva Lipton, Evelyn
Sahn, Helena Shavell and
Cindy Wagner.
Proceeds from the evening
will be used for Holocaust
educational activities. For in-
formation, contact Event
Chairman Art Kirsh,
