brother. The ushers were
David Rosenfeld, the bride's
brother, Lawrence Shrem,
Barry Shrem, Steven
Horowitz, John Dinello and
Bobby Vinciguerra. Michael
Barnathan, nephew of the
bridegroom, was the ring
bearer.
Also attending were the
bride's grandparents, Mrs.
Sue Olen and Mr. and Mrs.
Joseph Rosenfeld.
Following a honeymoon in
Toronto and Mexico, the cou-
ple is residing in New York.

who are the educators, prin-
cipals, rabbis and cantors
responsible for providing the
leadership in religious educa-
tion for congregations af-
filiated with the Union of
American Congregations.
DR. RICHARD C. HERTZ,
rabbi emeritus of Temple
Beth El, was installed as
president of the National
Association of Retired Reform
Rabbis. Dr. Hertz is a founder
of NAORRR.
DR. GORDON J. KORBY of
Livonia recently was awarded
the distinction of fellow of the
International Academy of
Clinical Acupuncture. Dr.
Korby also was named a
fellow of the American Back
Society.
BERNARD S. KENT has
been elected president of the
board of trustees of the
Detroit Chamber Winds. He
has been a trustee of the
chamber ensemble since
1984. A past president of the
Children of Holocaust Sur-
vivors Association in
Michigan, Kent was awarded
the William Boesky Young
Leadership Award in 1987.
He also has served as a board
member of the American-
Israeli Chamber of Com-
merce, the New Leadership
Division of Israel Bonds and
the International Network of
Children of Holocaust
Survivors.
