Camp came to the Jewish
Community Center in the
form of craft booths,
ceramics, candlemaking
and refreshments. The
Motor City Jaguars provid-
ed tumbling entertainment.

'Art Smart' Exhibit
By Hillel Students
The students in grades
kindergarten through five
enrolled in the special in-
terest classes at Hillel Day
School have completed their
newest project entitled "Art
Smart." This activity in-
troduces the students to art
appreciation.
Specific information is
researched and shared and a
reproduction in the chosen ar-
tist's style is created.
These reproductions and
the information gathered are
presently on display at
Hillel's newly created
Children of Hillel Art In-
stitute (C.H.A.I.), in its
Goldberg's Authentic Gallery
of Art (G.A.G.A.).
The exhibit, which opened
Thursday, will be on display
through Feb. 10. It is organ-
ized by Shelley Goldberg, the
teacher of the special interest
classes and the curator of the
museum.

special interest classes have
completed included studying

opened a mid-week Hebrew
program at the Maple/Drake
Jewish Community Center.
Classes are currently being
held for grades five, six, and
seven, (Bet, Gimel, Daled).
