wisdom of Solomon to the
humor of Hershel Ostropelier.
The Bubatron was created
by Rickie Lauffer and Rachel
Urist who direct the company.
Lauffer, an artist and art
teacher in the Ann Arbor
Schools, supervises the
marionette construction. The
scripts are written by Urist,
local playwright and former
drama critic for WUOM and
the Ann Arbor News.
Six children, participants in
the puppet theatre's first
workshop, are the creators
and manipulators of the
show's marionettes. The
children are: Naomi Adiv,
Esther Ahronheim, Josh
Donow, Steve Gordon, Stacy
Kalter, and Daniela Morell.
The sound track is recorded
