attended the North American
teacher/leader training pro-
gram of the International In-
stitute for Secular
Humanistic Judaism held
recently in Philadelphia.
They are: Elaine Kamienny,
principal of Birmingham
Temple School; Miriam Jer-
ris, executive director, Socie-
ty for Humanistic Judaism;
Yolanda Cohen and Charlotte
Nelson.
The institute will hold a
seminar Feb. 3-5 in Detroit on
"The Contemporary Jewish
World: the Trauma of the
20th Century." Yehuda Bauer,
institute chairman and pro-
fessor of Holocaust studies at
Hebrew University, will be
the guest speaker.

Toddler Time and Energetic
Tots Classes, which begin in
January. Parent lbddler Time
meets once a week and is
open to children 18 months
and older, accompanied by an
adult. The Energetic Tots
class is for children 27
months and older without an
adult. This class can be
selected with a lunch hour
option.
There are a limited number
of spaces for three- and four-
year olds in the nursery
school morning classes in the
ongoing winter session.
Classes meet two and three
days a week from 9 to 11:30
a.m. with lunch hour and ex-
tended time options available.
Registration for the
1989-1990 nursery school
year is also in progress. There
are two-day, three-day, and
four-day morning and after-
noon sessions available.
