Fields Fund
The Sidney and Jewel
Fields Endowed Scholarship
in Accounting has been
established at Wayne State
University by the Morris and
Emma Schaver Foundation.
Mrs. Emma Lazaroff
Schaver of Southfield, Presi-
dent, said the scholarship
fund was created "to honor
the 42 years of service and
friendship that Sidney and
Jewel Fields of Farmington
have given to the Schaver
family."
The purpose of the scholar-
ship fund is to recognize
WSU students majoring in
accounting, who display
talent, scholastic achieve-
ment, qualities of character
and leadership, financial
need, and the desire to con-
tinue in professional
accounting.
An accountant since 1939,
Fields has practiced with the
firm of Zack, Fields and Co.,
P.C. since 1945. He has serv-
ed as mentor, adviser and con-
sultant to the Schaver family
since 1958, as trustee of the
Morris and Emma Schaver
Foundation.

Kadima Has
Annual Meeting
Kadima-Association for
Jewish Residential Care Ser-
vices will hold its annual
meeting on Monday at 7:30
p.m. at 29201 Telegraph, 5th
floor, Southfield.
Kadima operates one group
home for six mentally ill,
Jewish adults. The home
allows the clients an oppor-
tunity to work on gaining
skills of independence.
Kadima also sponsors an
outreach program to provide
clients living in the communi-
ty an opportunity to meet for
a social and cultural event.
