Child Obesity
Focus Of Talk
The Center for Childhood
Weight Management, which
helps children and families
deal with childhood obesity,
will have a free orientation
session at 7 p.m. Jan. 11 at
the One on One Athletic Club
in West Bloomfield.
The Center for Childhood
Weight Management helps
children learn the value of
nutrition and how to make
good nutrition fit into their
lives. It also advises children
on how to make the necessary
lifestyle changes to maintain
a healthy body.
Cardiovascular fitness
machinery and Nautilus
equipment will be available.
Health care professionals and
exercise specialists will be on
hand to teach exercises.

For Celebration
The Henry Morgenthau
L'Chayim Lodge will hold its
annual Chanukah party on
Dec. 11 at 1 p.m. at Temple
Emanu-El.
The party is sponsored by
the lodge and the chapter. It
will include latkes, driedels
and entertainment.

Detroit Lodge
Hosts Party
Detroit Lodge will host its
third annual Chanukah par-
ty at 2 p.m. on Dec. 11 at Ea-
ly Elementary School. Arts
and crafts, games and prizes
will be available for the kids.
Potato latkes, beverages,
bagels and cream cheese will
be provided for all lodge
brothers and their families.
